PlatSil Gel-OO is similar to PlatSil Gel-10 and PlatSil Gel-25 in all respects except in its Shore hardness. Gel-OO is measured on the Shore OO scale as an OO-30. It offers a 1:1 mix ratio, 6-minute working time and 30-minute demold time.

Use PlatSil Gel-25 as a mold rubber, to create prosthetic appliances and for life casting. PlatSil Gels are widely used for specials effects in television, theatre and film.

Smith’s Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener is an additive for PlatSil® Gels. It is used to simulate the look and feel of skin or human tissue. Adding up to 250% Deadener of the PlatSil Gel mixture (Part A+ Part B) can be used to create a super-gel, which is extremely soft and sticky (can be self adhered to actor/actress’ skin and reused). Any level up to 250% can be used to mimic the slow stretch and recovery properties of human tissue. Great for silicone gel filled appliances and special effects.

SiliGlass is designed to act and look like broken glass when hit. Since the broken glass-like shards are made of a safe silicone rubber, there is no danger to an actor or actress during its use.SiliGlass has a 5-minute working time and a 0.5-1 hour demold and when cured, PlatSil® SiliGlass is a Shore A40 rubber.
