It was a pleasure getting advice from Shona. She is a generous and caring person and she really knows her craft as well as the products she sells.

"To dialogue with local experts in both sculpting and mould making as you are guided through your first model to reproduction is priceless!"
Just attended Shona’s condensed weekend sculpting and mould making course – wow - what a blast!
Although not a ‘newbie’ to sculpting in other mediums I found the course content and information on sculpting in oil based clay and moulding/casting materials available in NZ to be invaluable.
Yes - you can get information from books and YouTube videos, but to dialogue with local experts in both sculpting and mould making as you are guided through your first model to reproduction is priceless!
A real bonus was working in a group, not only the social aspect but also being able to ingest the input from both Shona and Alex on the specifics that applied to other attending artists work – all different and differing challenges to sculpt and mould – most informative!
In all an A+ workshop experience! Thanks Shona & Alex!!

We were absolutely blown away with Shona’s support!
“Shona recently supplied the Kawatiri Sculpture Symposium with a vast range of carving chisels and tools for our participating international / local sculptors and students from Tai Poutini Polytechnic’s Jade and Hard carving students to utilise in the creation of their sculptures. We were absolutely blown away with Shona’s support and the quality of her carving sets, we cannot express how grateful we are for her support and I would recommend Shonna’s carving sets to anyone intrested in stone carving”. - Pete Howard, Kawatiri Sculpture Symposium Co-ordinator
