FREIGHT

Freight is not included in the pricing. This is obviously dependent on the size and weight of your purchase. Wherever possible we use a prepaid Satchel. 
Please advise if you require an urgent courier delivery and we can get a quote for you.
We will endeavour to freight products to you as quickly and safely as we can. We usually will dispatch within 24 - 48 hours.
While we are an on-line business only - for larger items such as Silicones, Modelling stands etc.. please contact if you would like to arrange pick up from Auckland.
Wholesale accounts are available to art supplies retail shops, or online retailers with their own websites.

We love offering you the most competitive price but realise on occasions you may find the exact same product at a lower price.  If you do we guarantee to price match the product if the following conditions are met:

The product must be in stock in NZ, brand new and boxed, not on sale, clearance, damaged, out of use by date, shop soiled or a Trade me formatted offer.
The comparable product must be in stock at our competitors and be the exact same branded product. and include any surcharges ie. postage and packaging etc. 
As the products are imported only in stock items are comparable, due to increasing of pricing and exchange rates. A link to the competitor's product page must be provided.
We must be able to verify our competitor's price.
You must have requested the Price Match and have your request accepted and confirmed by us, before placing your order.

Returns Policy

 

This returns policy is applicable to all purchases made from Sculpture and Moulding Supplies Ltd (SAMS) online store.

Without limiting any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act, all goods to be returned must have a Goods Return Authority issued by us. 

 

Goods Return Authority

The issue of a Goods Return Authority does not guarantee that we will accept the return.  If upon testing the product, it is found to be faulty, we will either replace the product at our cost or if it is out of stock, issue a credit to you.  If, however, you return a product to us that is found not to be faulty, you will be liable for a testing fee and freight charges to return the product to you.

Restocking Fees

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have purchased the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a * 7 day exchange policy, however you we will need to charge you the 20% handling and restocking fee charged to us by our fulfilment company.  If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase. Please note, items opened or purchased on sale cannot be exchanged. To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and we will need to be notified within 7 days of purchase / delivery. Special order items or Sale items are excluded and cannot be returned / exchanged if you change your mind/purchase the wrong product by mistake.

Incorrectly supplied products

If you have been accidentally supplied the wrong product, SAMS will supply the correct product (where it is available) or issue a credit / refund. In these circumstances, if the Consumer Guarantees Act applies to the purchase, we will meet our obligations under that Act. Otherwise, if the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply:

·       - to supply the correct product the incorrect product will first need to be returned to us;

·       - we will need to be notified within 7 days of purchase / delivery;

·       - the incorrect product supplied must be in resalable / unused condition.

Products damaged in transit

If your product has been damaged during transit to your delivery address we will replace your product (if it is available) or issue a credit / refund. In these circumstances, if the Consumer Guarantees Act applies to the purchase, we will meet our obligations under that Act. Otherwise, if the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, unless we agree otherwise, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery in order to be eligible for a replacement, credit or refund.

 

Does not include SALE or Clearance items.  All items must be unopened and in original packaging.
